Catch-all Emails in Web Hosting
If you’ve got a Linux web hosting package with our company and you wish to activate the catch-all functionality for a given mailbox that you have in the web hosting account, it’ll take literally just a click of the mouse in the Email Manager section of your Hepsia Control Panel to achieve that. A catch-all button is available on the right-hand side of each and every email address that you have created under any domain name hosted in the account. You can pick one single email address per domain by clicking the respective button. This will activate the feature immediately, so all email messages sent to misspelled email addresses will be re-sent there. Clicking the button for a second time will turn off the catch-all feature. In case you have enabled email forwarding, our system will display a cautionary note and you won’t be able to enable the catch-all feature until you disable the forwarding or you can simply choose another mailbox to be the catch-all one.
Catch-all Emails in Semi-dedicated Hosting
A catch-all address can be set up with a couple of clicks of the mouse if you’ve got a Linux semi-dedicated package with us. The semi-dedicated account will be managed via our in-house created Hepsia Control Panel and you’ll be able to set up mailboxes with any domain hosted there. To activate the catch-all feature for a mailbox, you’ll have to click on the button with the same name, which will be on the right side of each email address. Deactivating this feature can be accomplished in the same fashion and will not require more than a click either. If the catch-all option has already been enabled for a particular domain name, you will receive a warning alert. The same goes if the mailbox that you’d like to be a catch-all one has email forwarding activated, as our system will never disable or replace anything automatically.
